To ensure broad participation in the strategic planning process, members of the community participated in two very different surveys: the Middlebury Connections Survey and the Middlebury Directions Survey.
Social network analysis was applied to the data we collected for the Middlebury Connections Survey and we prepared a social network map that identifies the connections people have established—and hope to establish—across our community and its schools and programs.
The Middlebury Directions Survey asked several open-ended questions of faculty, staff, and students in all Middlebury’s programs. This survey offered an opportunity to speak directly about “your Middlebury” — how you see it today, and your vision for its future. These survey results are posted on our Findings page.
