To ensure broad participation in the strategic planning process, members of the community participated in two very different surveys: the Middlebury Connections Survey and the Middlebury Directions Survey.
Social network analysis was applied to the data we collected for the Middlebury Connections Survey, and we prepared a social network map that identifies the connections people have established—and hope to establish—across our community and its schools and programs.
The Middlebury Directions Survey asked several open-ended questions of faculty, staff, and students in all Middlebury’s programs. This survey offered an opportunity to speak directly about “your Middlebury”—how you see it today and your vision for its future. These survey results are posted on our Findings page.
